This project offers a comfortable outdoor living space that gives hospital visitors, staff, and their beloved companions room to breathe. The terrace has been reimagined as a functional, aesthetic social area that encourages interaction.

Special seating and modular fibre planters dynamically break up the wide terrace’s formerly monotonous, cold voids. Spatial scaling aims for a warmer, more intimate, and enclosing atmosphere. Shaped by contemporary landscape architecture, the scheme uses lightweight, highly durable fibre planters to achieve rich greenery without overloading the structure.

Shrub groups, seasonal flowers, and dwarf trees as focal points create a refreshing sense of nature in every corner. Custom timber-detailed benches and high bar-table combinations offer flexible options for individual rest and social conversation. A safe, ergonomic setting allows pet owners to spend time with their companions.

Plant species were carefully chosen for strong resilience to open-terrace conditions such as wind and sun. This visually strong terrace landscape expresses the institution’s modern character and welcoming approach outdoors as well. Blending function with natural texture, the work is a quality example of terrace use in central urban healthcare buildings.
